Bluefin Tuna caught off Morehead City, NC on February 3, 2001.  Many of the Bluefin we have caught off Cape May, NJ during July and early August have been nearly this big.

When we saw the size of the great white shark that took this 200 pound tuna we heard the famous cry from JAWS MOVIE "We need a bigger boat"

No. It's not Morehead City, NC.  Try 50 miles from our dock in Cape May, NJ.   This 228 lb. Bluefin Tuna took 2 hours to bring in on 50 class stand-up tackle and three gaffs to get on board.

Megan and Kyle Wesolowski from Mt. Laurel, NJ with their first stripers caught in the Cape May Rips on November charter.  We encourage family trips for stripers as it is a great way for a family to spend a spring or fall day together.

Typical early December striper trip with stripers 24 to 36 inches.  Almost all the trips limited out with some catching up to 50 stripers in six hours or less.  Late November and early December is the very best striper fishing of the fall season.
